Sprouts |

Sprouts is the earliest developmental branch of Field Hockey America, geared towards K-4th Grade youngsters. Sprouts is dedicated to introducing the fun in field hockey to our youngest athletes. Sprouts is structured as 3v3 play within contained pods or courts. Encouraged play focuses on the fundamentals of "keep away" as both a team and individual ball movement concept and ultimately going to goal. Coaching is limited to reminders of the lesson of the day and encouraging team play.
