The U14 Mystx Burn and U16 Sparks claim National Indoor Club championship February 18
The U14 Mystx Burn and U16 Sparks won National Indoor Club titles last weekend. 35 U14 teams converged last Saturday at the SportsPlex in Feasterville, PA vying for a coveted spot in the championship final, played Monday during the National Indoor College Showcase. On Sunday, 40 U16 teams battled through pool play to determine the U16 finalists. In Mondays championship finals, Mystx Burn defeated WC Eagles 2-1 and Sparks defeated Strikers Pride 1-0 in front of a capacity crowd which included nearly 50 college recruiters in attendance for the National Indoor College Showcase. Dates for the 2009 event are once again President's Day Weekend.
