Focusing On The Big Picture Field Hockey America believes that as citizens of the world and ambassadors of our sport, ultimate and life long impressions and impacts are found in the riches of a helping hand, an unsolicited pat on the back, a leaping hug in victory, and a strong, warm shoulder in defeat. These images affect us globally - they aptly apply to our competitive moments as athletes and coaches as well as our everyday lives as members of our communities. There are "medals" won on the playing field that no one will ever see. They are worn inside.. on your heart. Those medals are the lessons of commitment, sacrifice, grace in defeat, humility in victory.....willingly share those "heart medals" you have earned with your team, teammates, friends, family, and community.
