Field Hockey America's Indoor Championship Weekend
Jersey Intensity I defeated Sparks, 3-2 in a rousing U19 Final. Down 2 nil with just 7 minutes to play, Jersey Intensity found the net 3 times in a 2 1/2 minute span. Brenna Resigno capped the come from behind win when she scored a top 90 rocket off a penalty corner.
In the U16 Division, WC Eagles defeated Mystx Fierce 5-0. WC took quick control, scoring 3 goals in the first ten minutes. The game settled after that, but the Eagles managed to find the net 2 more times in the second half.
The 2009 U16 and U19 finals were played using a European format. 2 20 minute halves were played rather than just a 25 minute game.
